Proactive Adjustments
Automatically adjust the queue based on availability so your team always has a clear view of upcoming shifts.
What are Proactive Adjustments?
When Proactive Adjustments are enabled, the rotation queue is automatically adjusted based on your team’s availability. Instead of discovering conflicts at assignment time, the queue is reordered ahead of time, giving your team an accurate view of who’s coming up next.
This works together with Days of Availability. When a user’s available days change, the queue updates immediately to reflect it.
How to enable
- Go to Home tab: Learn where to find Rotation App’s Home tab
- Open your rotation’s menu and select ⚖️ Balancing & Availability.
- Set Proactive Adjustments to On.
Note: Proactive Adjustments are automatically enabled when Load Balancing is on.
When to use
Enable when team members have different work schedules (configured via Days of Availability) and you want the queue to stay accurate without manual intervention.
Disable if everyone shares the same schedule and you prefer full manual control over the queue order.
